Welcome to Arik Kislin
These days, most know Arik Kislin as a principal in Air Rutter International, a full service firm consisting of private jets, full service private maintenance, fueling, private terminals, and hanger facilities. While Air Rutter International is certainly an essential part of Kislin's life, his early investment days started with the world of New York City real estate.
A Solid Foundation
Much of the last decade had Arik Kislin as a principal in a New York City real estate firm specializing in the development and management of 3.6 million square feet. Fortunately, that space included the 1.5 million square foot development now known as the Chelsea Market complex - the project that spurred transformations of Manhattan's Meatpacking District from a dilapidated industrial area to one of New York City's most exclusive neighborhoods. Chelsea Market was soon sold to Angelo, Gordon & Co. Kislin's eyes, though, remained on the area, and during 2001, Kislin developed a partnership with the Achenbaum family as a principal developer of the Gansevoort Hotel. The hotel is responsible, in part, for the overall transformation of the Meatpacking District, which was revolutionized into the major international fashion, dining, and nightlife destination you know today.
Kislin's interest in real estate remains to some degree today. He is involved in developing two other Gansevoort properties. A South Beach location in Miami Beach includes a hotel, condominiums, spa, lounge, high end restaurant, outdoor pool, and bar and retail shops. A New York City location will be on prestigious Park Avenue. The location will feature a three level indoor and outdoor rooftop bar and pool area. Construction will commence the summer of 2008.
Kislin's Interests Grow Wings
Luckily for Air Rutter International, Kislin is multi-talented. After his initial investment in 2004, Air Rutter International went from a small company to a firm that can offer a team of highly trained professional staff members as well as some of the highest aircraft, security, and maintenance ratings in the country. Air Rutter International is finally able to sport new headquarters in the Long Beach Air Center at the Long Beach International Airport that offer 28,000 square feet of hangar space. This allows the company to house three G-V's, charter and dispatch offices, as well as ample room for parking, refueling, and maintenance.
Kislin's personal interests are varied as well. A member of the New York Friars Club, he also has a passion for baseball and has been a life long player and fan. Arik is married with two children and enjoys spending time with his family while yachting and playing tennis.
Arik Kislin is a self-made man. An entrepreneur, real estate investor, and developer, Arik is currently a principal of Linx Industries a diversified investment company with significant stakes in many different businesses ranging from aviation to financial services.
